I design so people
don't have to think twice.
It comes down to one question for me. How do I make things easier to understand?
I've spent 18 years in design, starting in graphic and moving into product design. These days I work on data-driven products like dashboards, data hubs, and map-based tools, where the real job is making data easier for people to use and understand.
On many projects, I've owned product direction and strategy, working closely with clients and engineers to decide what gets built first and why. I've also jumped into domains I knew little about and turned unfamiliar technical concepts into something people could work with.
I care about what happens behind the scenes as much as the interface. I led the choice of a design system and built templates and handoff documentation that cut repeated work across projects. If it makes the next project easier, I want to build it.
In my last role, I was part of an AI working group where we put together an internal AI handbook and set guiding principles for using it responsibly. That shaped how I use AI in my own work, finding where it genuinely speeds things up without losing the thinking behind the work.
I like design problems that take some untangling. If you've got one, let's talk!
